KU represents the hopes and dreams for every school that is not a traditional power. Non-power schools will have good years and bad years, some will have extended time in both categories. Kansas shows that any team is a good hire away from becoming relevant again.

Lance Leipold will get a ton of offers for turning around a seemingly helpless program and bringing them to national relevancy. The Jayhawks will face many challenges within the next few months, but with one more win, this season can be remembered forever

No one knows how long Kansas will be able to maintain their new found success, but this year should be a reminder that things can change at any time.

Kansas went from the laughing stock of the Big 12, to hosting ESPN’s College Gameday. Sports exist to break your heart, but sometimes you’re rewarded with a magical season. In this case, it’s nice to live in the moment and root for that one last win.

Bowl games are meaningless to some, but to this Kansas Jayhawks team, it would be the cherry on top. A 13th game, which cements how far Kansas has come, in such a short amount of time.
